No Silver for the Oil
I knew that after going down 3-1 that the oil could not come back to win the cup - But it was a very exciting run and for two seasons in a row a Canadian team (an Alberta) team is defeated by a team that has never before won the championship in game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final! Too bad - it would have been awesome to have the cup back in Canada. There is always next year. My money is on the Leafs - not the Flyers, not the Canuckleheads, and not the Predators.

How sweet it is. Man was I happy to see rockin' Roddy hoist the cup. For a couple of reasons:
1. I hate the Oilers - Pronger, Sm(y/i)ths, Torres...
2. We would never have heard the end of it if the Oil had won.
3. faRT was cheering for the Oil.
Watching them lose in game 7 makes it that much more crushing and satisfying.
I am surprised though how an experienced band wagon jumper such as yourself managed to jump the wrong wagon... then again you are a Leafs fan!
Ouch....
It was all just a little too painful - I'd rather not discuss it :P
