Spent a short but very enjoyable time in Santa Monica last weekend.
visiting friends, we took in a couple of beaches and tried surfing. Im not a big watersports fan...but I could get used to the west coast beaches!

OMG - that looks like so much fun! Hard, but fun! I think the baby sharks would have kept me sand-bound though. Now I can't get the Savage Garden song, 'Santa Monica' out of my head - thanks for that. :)

Turner. You have inspired me yet again. I, too, am going to California. Taking my XC team to a meet in Palo Alto (Stanford). I will post pics when I get back. Nice tongue!

I do try to inspire someone at least once a month!
Turns out it is tiger shark mating season right now - so Beth was not seeing things or making things up like someone might have suggested. Another day or two and I think it would have all clicked for me and I would be hangin' 10 and rippin' like a pro.

When exactly do you find time to work? You do work don't you.

Sorry I missed your call. I will try to return the call this week. Not always around before six to call.

Ah...memories...tried the surfing thing in Australia...almost broke my neck on the bottom of the ocean a few times. Those waves are deceptively powerful, eh? Sounds like fun...
